McLaren is developing a line of speakers with its trademark No. five papaya orange accents and a speedmark. The price of the speakers, which were developed in collaboration with the American audio manufacturer Klipsch, is astonishing. A cinema speaker system of a professional quality is the MCL-905 McLaren Limited Edition.
Its support bracket is inspired by the tail wings and spoilers of aerodynamic McLaren race cars, making it easily recognizable to any F1 fan. On the high-frequency horn and custom vinyl wrap, which also features Bruce McLaren's signature and the number five seal, it also features McLaren's papaya orange. The premium loudspeaker is not only stylish but also looks like one.
Two 15-inch fiber-composite cone woofers are connected to a three-inch titanium-diaphragm compression driver in the two-way speaker using horn technology. Each pair will cost 15,998 USD and there will only be 25 of them made.
The Forte McLaren Edition floorstanding speaker, which retails for $10,998 per pair, is part of the Legends Series speaker collection. These legendary loudspeakers are distinguished by the number 5 and McLaren's signature papaya color, despite being the most popular Klipsch model. A vinyl wrap that has been applied over black ash wood designed as a nod to McLaren's past is also included in the livery.
The same company that supplies McLaren's F1 vehicles at the moment also supplies the papaya-colored paint that is used on the Forte's. The Forte McLaren Edition floorstanding speaker's perforated, industrial-style metal grille and Torx screws, in addition to the paint, draw inspiration from Formula One cars and the pit garage.
The Forte featured a 12-inch woofer, a high-frequency driver with a one-inch titanium diaphragm, and a K-702 horn-loaded midrange driver firing through a redesigned Tractrix horn under the hood.
The Nines McLaren Edition powered speakers, which retail for $1,899 per pair, follow as the next product in the Legend Series line. The Nines Mclaren Edition has collaborated with the F1 team to design every finishing detail, from the paint color to the metal grilles.
Built-in amplification gives these powered monitors a total system power of 240 Watts and a peak power of 480 Watts. They can connect wirelessly via Bluetooth, HDMI-ARC, digital optical, or 3.5mm, making them extremely adaptable.
The One McLaren Edition wireless tabletop stereo speaker, which retails for $349, is the entry point into the Legend Series range.
It features McLaren's winning number five, tactile switches and knobs, and real wood veneer that has been painted black and papaya orange.
The 60 is a powered speaker that has a 60 watt output, two 2.25-inch full-range drivers, and a 4.5-inch woofer. It can be connected to Bluetooth and has a 3.5mm analog input. This 2.1 professionally tuned stereo system has a height of just under seven inches and a depth of six inches, making it easy to listen to from a table, counter, or any other corner.
